You can edit the column order, width, and use pin left or pin right to design your own unique lead manager screen.

Overview

Administrators can customize how lead information appears on the Lead Manager screen by changing column order, visibility, pinning, and width. Use this feature to align the lead list with your team’s workflow, reduce scrolling, and show only the fields users need.

Key functionality

Customizing the Lead Manager screen layout lets administrators:

  • Control how lead fields and field groups display across SalesExec.

  • Customize layouts for different screens and workflows.

  • Reorder field groups to match business priorities.

  • Improve sales efficiency by presenting only relevant information.

  • Maintain consistency across user experiences while supporting different use cases.

How to use this feature

To change the column layout of your Lead Manager screen:

  1. Go to More > Settings > Lead Fields.

  2. In the Record Types section, locate the Record Type you want to change. Click Columns.

  3. In Column Order, drag and drop fields to reorder them. The order top to bottom equals left to right on the Lead Manager screen.

    • To hide a field from users, switch its toggle to HIDDEN.

    • To keep a column visible while scrolling, choose Pin Left or Pin Right from the dropdown. Pinned fields stay visible regardless of where you scroll.

    • Pro tip: New lead fields are added to the bottom of the existing list. Adding every possible lead field or system field can slow down the Lead Manager screen. Add only fields your team needs for reference, filtering, or data exports.

  4. Optional: In Column Widths, hover over a column divider until the arrow appears. Drag left or right to shorten or widen the column.

Best practices

  • Keep pull and dialing layouts minimal so users focus on conversations instead of data entry.

  • Place high-priority field groups at the top of each layout for faster access.

  • Maintain consistent layouts across similar workflows to reduce user confusion.

  • Review layouts periodically as sales processes and reporting needs change.

  • Test layout changes with a small group of users before rolling them out broadly.

Troubleshooting

Issue

What to check

A field group does not appear

Confirm it is included in the screen layout and enabled for that screen.

Changes are not visible

Ensure you edited the correct Record Type and layout.

Users report missing information

Verify the field group was not removed or hidden unintentionally.

Lead Manager screen loads slowly

Review the number of fields added. Remove fields not needed for reference, filtering, or data exports.

I can't access the Lead Types section or make any changes

Check with your administrator, as these permissions are role-based.

Note: Screen layout changes affect display only. They do not modify or delete lead data.
